TUTORIAL - Turning a light on and off

Learn how how simple it is to switch something (light, scene, schedule etc) and or off from a Smartphone.

STEP 1 - First go to a keypad containing a key assigned to the light you wish to dim.

TIP: On Smartphones you can conveniently swap between keypads using a swipe gesture.

STEP 2 - Press (touch) and release the desired key, just as you would a normal appliance switch.

STEP 3 - The Key surround or background (depending on chosen theme) will now reflect the new activation status.

If the circuit supports dimming (alternate image) you will see the level ramp over time to its new programmed level (unless set to instantaneous, in which case the change will be immediate).

STEP 4 - Next time you press the key it will "toggle" the circuit to the other state.

Note: SmartSERVER also provides a "switch to" key function. When using this 2 keys are normally defined on the keypad, one to be pressed to turn On, the other for OFF.
